Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark on beautiful South Padre Island is the tropical destination for family fun! With interconnecting water rides and slides, a huge 5-story tall Sandcastle, thrilling uphill water coasters, a man-made surfing wave, and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, Schlitterbahn Beach has all the ingredients for a great summer getaway!

Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark is located on South Padre Island near Brownsville, Texas. To get there, access the Queen Isabella Causeway located in Port Isabel, Texas. After crossing the causeway, take a right turn onto Padre Boulevard. The park is on the left side of the road, approximately one-half mile south of the causeway.

South Padre Island has some of the greatest sea turtle sightings in America. No, it's not the Galapagos Islands, but it's the next best thing!

Location: 6617 Padre Blvd. South Padre Island, Texas. 78597 Phone: (956) 761-4511.

Hours : The facility is open from 10 am - 4 pm Tuesdays through Sundays (Closed Mondays). Tours run between 20-30 minutes in length. The first one of the day begins at 10 am. Tours are held close to every half an hour, with the last one of the day beginning around 3:30 pm. We ask for a donation of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children over the age of 4.

Feeding Times:

10:00 am - daily feeding follows the first presentation
3:00 pm - supplemental feeding of a few resident sea turtles

If you are looking for a casual, fun, and friendly atmosphere then Tom and Jerry's is the place to go. If you're not into watching sports, they offer free NTN Trivia for those intelligent folks.

You will find a menu that pleases any appetite, featuring daily food specials as well as daily happy hour drink specials. You will also find the biggest and coldest draft beer selection on SPI. Tom and Jerry's is a great place to get out of the sun or dine in the air conditioned covered patios.

Food is priced very reasonably! Most meals $6-$8 Nice!
