Question to blogster:
"My friend and I are planning to hit one of those places for 4 days over the spring break. Both of us are 18, senior girls. I heard that South Padre is a lot funner than Port Aransas (cause SP is more young people place, and Port Aransas is more a family place), but I'm worried if it's too crazy for us in SPI."
Blogster Response:
Whether you are visiting South Padre Island for spring break, or any other spring break gathering, go with a bigger group, at least four to six. At your age, you may run into problems with housing, so, its good idea to have someone over 25 go with you- most of the time they can get you the hook up. Since you are 18, not quite legal drinking age, you may find South Padre Island full of kids drinking underage and getting busted- so, stay sober! Don't drink or let anyone put stuff in you beverages. Join the beach volleyball games with your group, listen to the music and eat until your heart (or belly) is content, but avoid the alcohol and marijuana- you will get busted!
